 Mechatronics Engineer

Lausanne, Switzerland (On-site)

Job Summary:

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the hardware components of robotic systems, with hands-on experience with custom robotic systems and strengths in mechanical and/or electronic systems.

In this role, you will collaborate with the engineering team to prototype and develop robotic systems towards production and deployment.

We are looking for individuals who are motivated towards robotics and looking to grow in a high-paced environment.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of industrial experience
  • 4+ years of experience in mechatronics development.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD tools, circuit design, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, prototype, and test robotic hardware components including sensors, actuators, controllers, and mechanical structures.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and broader team towards full system integration.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to improve existing robotic hardware.
  • Document design processes, specifications, and test results.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in mechanical and/or electrical design used in robots.
  • Experience with prototyping and building/integration of robotic systems (the "full-stack" of robotics).
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team with an iterative design philosophy.
