Make your mark for patients
About the role
At UCB, we're inspired by patients and driven by science. Join us to bring innovative osteoporosis solutions to the specialists and care teams who need them most. As a Health Care Professional Partner (HCPP/KAM) for Easter Switzerland, you'll own strategic accounts, build trusted partnerships, and orchestrate cross‑functional execution that turns insights into better outcomes.
Why this role matters
- Impact at scale – Champion an innovative osteoporosis therapy within Switzerland and shape how patients access and benefit from it.
- Strategic ownership – Lead the full account cycle—from mapping decision‑makers and influencers to designing and executing customer‑specific plans.
- Omnichannel excellence – Meet customers where they are, using the right mix of face‑to‑face, virtual, events, and digital to create value efficiently and compliantly.
- Patient‑first mindset – Convert science, data, and local insights into solutions that streamline pathways and elevate standards of care.
Who you'll work with
You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team within the Immunology PVU, part of the Osteoporosis Team collaborating closely with other stakeholder-facing roles, Omnichannel Solutions Lead, Medical Scientific Liaison, HCP Partners (KAM). You'll also work closely with local and regional teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution—always focused on creating value for patients and healthcare professionals.
What you'll do
- Own and grow key accounts: Segment and prioritize your territory; build durable relationships with office‑ and hospital‑based specialists (primarily rheumatologists and endocrinologists) and relevant stakeholders.
- Design winning plans: Develop insight‑driven engagement account strategies and execute activities aligned to clear objectives and success metrics.
- Deliver compelling engagements: Communicate clinical and real‑world value with integrity across channels; organize impactful educational initiatives as appropriate.
- Work cross‑functionally: Align with internal colleagues (e.g., medical, marketing, access, operations) to sequence activities and materials for maximum impact.
- Run a tight operation: Document activities and insights, maintain CRM discipline, monitor performance, and iterate based on data and feedback.
- Champion compliance: Uphold the highest ethical standards and adhere to local regulations and company policies in every interaction.
What you bring
- Experience: 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales and/or key account management; background in immunology and/or osteoporosis is a strong plus.
- Education: Degree in medical, paramedical, pharmaceutical, or scientific discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Account planning mastery: Proven ability to craft and execute strategic account plans, coordinate multi‑stakeholder projects, and deliver results.
- Communication & influence: Credible, succinct communicator who builds trust and navigates complex decision networks.
- Digital & data fluency: Comfortable leveraging omnichannel tools and CRM; you use data (and field intuition) to refine tactics.
- Languages: Fluency in German (incl. Swiss German) and English. Additional national language proficiency is advantageous.
- Mindset: Organized, resilient, proactive—keen to learn, collaborate, and go the extra mile for patients.
What we offer
- Purpose with autonomy: A patient‑focused culture that empowers you to innovate, learn, and lead within your territory.
- Growth: Continuous learning, coaching, and development opportunities in a collaborative environment.
- Competitive package: Attractive base, performance‑based bonus and comprehensive benefits (details provided during the process).
- Flexibility: Field‑based with smart use of remote tools; travel within assigned territory required.
