On behalf of our client, a leading pharmaceutical company at the forefront of innovation in drug development and personalized healthcare, we are seeking a
Senior Clinical Operations Lead
for their Basel site.

This is a
contract position of the duration of 1 year
, with no possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the Clinical Operations Disease Area Communities by shaping operational strategies that bring value to patients and sites.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support the design and execution of global clinical studies.
  • Drive patient-centricity by addressing unmet needs of patients, clinical sites, and investigators.
  • Lead and influence in a highly matrixed global environment, promoting curiosity and bold thinking.
  • Ensure compliance with GCP/GVP and maintain data integrity through a balanced, risk-based approach.
  • Proactively manage internal and external stakeholders including PD, Diagnostics, Affiliates, Clinical Site Staff, and Vendors.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and enterprise mindset.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
  • At least a Bachelor's or advanced degree in a scientific field.
  • Fluency in English and German is a must.
  • Minimum 10+years of experience in Clinical Operations and pharmaceutical drug development.
  • Proven expertise in supporting and/or leading clinical trial activities across global geographies.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with agility, influence without authority, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong knowledge of ICH Guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Passionate about human-centricity, inclusion, growth mindset, and customer value.
