Senior Quality & Compliance Engineer Industrial Systems

Location: Zurich Area | Type: Permanent | Hybrid Work Option

An international manufacturing group is strengthening its Quality & Compliance organization and is searching for a Senior Quality & Compliance Engineer to ensure world-class standards across industrial and automotive product lines.

What Youll Do

  • Negotiate quality agreements and manage relationships with key industrial & automotive clients.
  • Lead internal audits, support certification activities (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949), and coordinate with global teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement of QMS processes and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
  • Oversee supplier quality, corrective actions, and customer feedback loops.
  • Monitor KPIs, prepare management reports, and ensure compliance across the product lifecycle.

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in Automotive / Industrial Quality Management.
  • Proficient with core quality tools (8D, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
  • Engineering or technical degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or similar).
  • Fluent in English
    (German is a plus).
  • Willingness for occasional travel.
  • Strong communicator, structured thinker, and team-oriented professional.
