Apply nowLearn more Please, apply till 30th of November, 2025Global applicants welcomeFunction /departmentR&D RRP SourcingLocationGeneva, SwitzerlandReporting toR&D RRP Commercial Sourcing DirectorRoleSTA (12 months) until the end of 2026R&D RRP Commercial Sourcing ManagerPosition purposeReduced risk products (RRPs) are critical to the future success and profitability of the company.RRP Sourcing within R&D function is highly dynamic and volatile operational environment, growing rapidly with increasing number of markets as per RRP geo-expansion strategy and high-level of complexity related to RRP business, which remains relatively new for the company.RRP Commercial Sourcing is one of the key pillars within R&D RRP Sourcing that oversees commercial aspects of all JT Group RRP Sourcing related to contract manufacturing of Heated Tobacco category (HTP) devices and Exploratory categories (E-vapor, Infused Tobacco), including supplier selection and management, cost competitiveness analytics, reporting and improvement, contractual framework maintenance and development, compliance, governance, new supply flows assessment and systems implementation.RRP Commercial Sourcing Manager will be in close collaboration with RRP Sourcing pillars in Tokyo, HK and Singapore including component procurement and engineering teams all well as with finance team to well address the business needs and properly control, analyze and manage the cost and overall profitability of RRP devices.Main ResponsibilitiesSupport with testing and implementation of new quotation system plan testing scenarios, report test results, follow up on required improvements. The incumbent will be in close collaboration with relevant business owners to support in developing, testing & implementing quotation system for RRP Sourcing and more specifically for Commercial Sourcing. The support includes aligning deliverables, testing protocols, reporting results and priority setting, ensuring alignment and coordination with business functions and suppliers.Support with RRP device and supply chain costs analysis, reporting, follow-up and drive improvements. Ensure close and trustworthy collaboration with RRP Components Procurement Team, Sourcing Finance Team, GRRP Design team, R&D PD and provide support for new products quotation review and negotiation, cost optimization and standardization initiatives, CDC cost integration and ASP VMC activities.Develop database for device cost categories analysis for all device generations to ensure comparability to support negotiations, decision making and enable achievement of business targets related to profitability. Evaluate and implement digital solutions (such as automation tools and data analytics platforms like Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps) to enhance and standardize reporting and improve historical visibility in collaboration with other Sourcing teams and IT.Support planning and tracking of RRP Sourcing budget including investments and product cost variances. Coordinate and manage investment scenarios, business cases calculations. Provide support for evaluation of alternative investment solutions, identify opportunities for new processes or improvements.Support RRP component safety stock reporting and analytics improvements and maintain and enhance collaboration with internal counterparts and suppliers to increase efficiency of reporting, contracting and improve budgeting precision.Coordinate write-off and disposal activities externally with suppliers and internally with stakeholders, like Sourcing Finance, Tokyo engineering teams (Sourcing and R&D PD).Provide ad-hoc support to the team with data consolidation, reporting, analytics and project management.What We Are Looking For - RequirementsUniversity degree (preferably finance or business administrationMinimum 3-5 years experience in finance or sourcing and procurement or supply chain operations is required. Project management and experience with negotiations are assetsAdvanced excel skills required, individual should be able to build up models and structures for analysis, reporting and consolidationExperienced individual, able to think analytically and cross-functionally from business and cost perspectivesAutonomous and proactive communicator; initiates and drives cross-functional discussions with strong and effective communication skillsCurious and analytical mindset; detail-oriented, resilient, and open-minded in approaching challenges and problem-solvingThank you very much for your interest in the role.
