Zürich, Zürich, Schweiz Teranode Group Vollzeit CHF 120'000 - CHF 180'000 pro Jahr

Company Overview

Teranode Group is a rapidly growing, international technology company at the forefront of innovation in blockchain solutions applied to Fintech, Digital Identity and Trust, and Loyalty & Entertainment. We operate across multiple countries and locations, combining diverse perspectives with a strong spirit of collaboration. We are a dynamic and fast-paced organization committed to fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Our success is driven by our talented and passionate employees, and we believe that a strong HR function is critical to our continued growth and ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and pragmatic HR professional who is ready to roll up their sleeves and take ownership of our human resources function. This pivotal role goes beyond maintaining processes – it is about building, shaping, and driving HR forward in a growing and international company.

You will be responsible for implementing, upgrading, and optimizing all HR operations – including payroll (managed by an external provider), administration, and talent attraction – while helping to raise our working culture to the next level. The HR Director will directly oversee and collaborate with teams in London, Admin, and Recruiting. At the same time, there is significant development work to be done, with plenty of room to leave your mark and bring your ideas to life.

This role requires a hands-on builder: someone who enjoys getting into the details, improving what doesn't yet work perfectly, and setting up scalable solutions that match the needs of a high-growth technology company. The ideal candidate is a doer as much as a thinker – ready to dive in, experiment, and make things happen. The position can be based in London or Switzerland (Zug).

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Translate business strategy into concrete HR initiatives and make them work in practice.
  • Act as a trusted partner to the leadership team, providing guidance and sparring on all HR-related topics.
  • Drive the shift from a administrative HR setup to a proactive and business-oriented HR function.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Own and improve all HR operations, including payroll (provided by an external provider), benefits administration, HR information systems (HRIS), and employee record management.
  • Spot inefficiencies, implement better tools, and create lean processes that make HR faster, easier, and more reliable.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws in all countries where Teranode Group operates.

Talent Attraction & Acquisition

  • Build and execute pragmatic, effective talent acquisition strategies that deliver results.
  • Strengthen employer branding to position Teranode Group as a destination for top talent.
  • Ensure an engaging candidate journey with structured selection and onboarding that sets new hires up for success.

Talent Management & Development

  • Implement performance management approaches that are simple, transparent, and impactful.
  • Create learning and development opportunities that keep employees growing and motivated.
  • Establish a talent pipeline and succession planning to prepare the company for future growth.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Design competitive compensation and benefits programs that are fair, transparent, and in line with market standards.
  • Regularly benchmark and adjust where needed to ensure we stay competitive.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Foster a positive, hands-on, and collaborative work environment that reflects our values.
  • Act as a go-to person for employees and managers in all people-related topics.
  • Actively drive diversity, equity, and inclusion across the company.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within a technology company or fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proven ability to upgrade HR operations, optimize HRIS, and build effective recruiting and development initiatives.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and connect at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach – able to design the concept and implement it yourself.
  • Good understanding of HRIS and/or other HR platforms; experience in the tech industry is a plus.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, data-driven way of working.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment.
