Job Description

Experienced agile test manager with 12+ years of experience in software testing with a strong background in Test Automation, ETL testing and regulatory compliance within the banking domain, focusing on risk and compliance areas.

Involved in designing and implementing automated test solutions for complex ETL processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data crucial to regulatory compliance (FINMA, FATCA, KYC, AML).

Hands-on experience with data validation, transformation, and loading, along with expertise in test automation frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developed, maintained, and optimized automated testing frameworks for ETL processes, focusing on data accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Designed, wrote and executed automation scripts to validate data pipelines, ensuring they meet business and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborated with data engineers and business analysts to understand data flows, transformations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Created test data and build data validation checks for comprehensive test coverage of risk and compliance applications.
  • Ensured data quality and accuracy in systems involved in risk and compliance, aligning with industry standards (FINMA, FATCA, KYC, AML).
  • Integrated ETL test automation into CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, and Docker with Azure cloud platforms
  • Utilized test management and defect tracking tools to log, track, and resolve issues (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
  • Generated detailed test reports and dashboards to communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders.

Skills:

  • ETL Testing: Strong experience in ETL testing, including data validation, data transformation, and data loading.
  • Banking & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of banking risk and compliance requirements, including FINMA, FATCA, KYC, AML regulations.
  • Automation Frameworks: Proficiency in automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Playwrite and Rest Assured for end-to-end and API testing.
  • Scripting & Data Querying: Strong SQL skills for querying databases and validating ETL processes; knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Java) is a plus.
  • Test Management: Experience with test management tools like JIRA, Xray, and ServiceNow.
  • CI/CD Integration: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker) for automated test execution.
  • Data Quality & Validation: Attention to detail in ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and quality in risk-related applications.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and compliance teams to define testing requirements and resolve issues.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience in Agile environments, including sprint planning and retrospectives
