Working with the Technical Sales Manager and a well-established sales team, we are offering an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven technical salesperson to join a small but successful international team at Alchem NicSelect, a global leader in high-quality nicotine solutions.

The 
Deputy Technical Sales Manager
 will be responsible for business development, technical enquiries, and account management across our Next Generation Nicotine Delivery (NGND) portfolio. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, commercial, and customer relationship skills, and is suited to candidates with prior 
B2B sales experience
 in the 
chemical, pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, or tobacco industries
.

In addition to our nicotine ingredients, Alchem NicSelect is currently launching a novel range of nicotine technologies covering 
nicotine pouches, vapes, and other novel nicotine replacement therapies
. The role would ideally suit someone familiar with nicotine products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by identifying, developing, and converting new opportunities within the NGND market.
  • Manage existing customer accounts, ensuring high service levels and long-term partnerships.
  • Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email, and video calls; draft tailored proposals and quotations.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients internationally, including visits to customer offices and representation at industry trade shows.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Technical and Regulatory teams to align customer requirements with product capabilities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to position NicSelect solutions effectively.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and account plans for management.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience:
     Proven B2B sales experience in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, or tobacco is essential.
  • Languages:
     Professional working knowledge of English; French and/or German is a plus.
  • Technical understanding:
     Ability to grasp and explain complex chemical or pharmaceutical concepts to clients.
  • Soft skills:
     Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a consultative approach.
  • Mobility:
     Willingness to travel internationally for client visits and trade fairs.
