Mission
For an internationally B2B industrial company, we are currently seeking a driven and dynamic
Sales Representative & Key Account Customer (m/f/d)
to lead and grow the company's presence across the German-speaking region of Switzerland.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities. You will act as the main point of contact for clients in this region, ensuring strong relationships and delivering tailored solutions that drive sustainable growth. During the low season (from October to March), you will act as a Sales Representative, visiting clients and following up on their needs. During the high season (from April to September), you will take on the role of Customer Service, supporting the team and ensuring the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Representative responsibilities
- Lead business development and sales activities in the German-speaking market
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across key industry segments.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through consultative sales and relationship management.
- Develop and implement local go-to-market strategies aligned with national and regional objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer success teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Conduct regular market and competitor analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, networking events, and client meetings in the region.
- Report regularly on sales performance, forecasts, and market developments to senior management.
Customer Service responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other channels.
- Provide information about products, services, and delivery times.
- Handle orders, process returns and manage customer accounts.
- Follow up on deliveries and coordinate with the logistics department.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks when needed.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Logistics, Finance) to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and report recurring customer issues to help improve processes.
Candidate Profile Qualifications Requirements:
- At least 3 years of proven experience in B2B sales in Switzerland.
- Deep understanding of the Swiss market, business culture and regional dynamics.
- A results-driven mindset, the ability to work independently and meet ambitious targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland as needed. (5 to 6 months / October to March)
- Fluency in German and English is required; French or any other European language is an advantage.
IT Skills:
- Ideally, experience with Business Central and Power BI, combined with a strong ability to learn new systems quickly.
