Finders is recruiting for a
leading private bank
seeking an experienced
Senior Avaloq Developer
with solid expertise in
payments
to join their technology team in Basel. This is a
full on-site position
requiring presence in the office five days per week.
Your Role
You will design, develop, and optimize Avaloq payment workflows and interfaces, ensuring seamless integration, reliability, and efficiency across the full transaction lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Avaloq payment functionalities and interfaces with external systems
- Customize modules for SIC, SEPA, SWIFT (MT/MX, ISO20022), TARGET2/TIPS
- Troubleshoot production issues and support testing and rollouts
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement, introducing modern technologies such as microservices, containerization, and cloud solutions
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field
- 5+ years of Avaloq development experience
- Background in the payments domain
- Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on, reliable, and proactive approach
- Fluent in English; German is an advantage
