Waste incineration plants unavoidably generate flue gases containing CO₂, the recycling of which through separation and utilization in a low-temperature electrolysis (NTCE) to synthesis gas (CO, H₂) is a future-oriented approach. The aim of this master's thesis is to select and analytically design a technically and economically viable absorber system for the separation of CO₂ from flue gases.
