Power Integrations Finance team in Biel is responsible for all Finance activities related to the European entities of the PI group. This means Accounts Payable, Payroll, GL, Intercompany accounting and forecasting activities for our Swiss, German, Italian, UK and Netherlands offices.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing Accounts Payable process: supplier data management, invoice bookings, payments, closing AP ledger including reconciliations of sub-ledgers with General Ledger
- General Ledger accounting including accruals & provisions calculations and bookings as well as managing prepayments and amortization
- Actively participating in the Month End / Year End accounts closing process.
- Preparation of payroll in collaboration with service providers for our Swiss, German, UK and Italian offices
- Preparation and booking of the payroll entries including related reconciliations of payroll related accounts
- Employee tax at source coordination for Switzerland, including contact with canton authorities
- Fixed asset ledger management including FA additions, depreciations, retirements, transfers and adjustments for capital assets and ensuring adherence to company policies in respect of depreciation and capitalization. Ensure reconciliation of FA sub-ledger with General Ledger
- Employee expense reports and credit card billings including ensuring appropriate authorizations, bookings, payments, accruals and reconciliations
- Intercompany transactions management including related intercompany accounts reconciliation
- Participate in projects focusing on continuous improvement of finance processes
- Actively participating in strengthening internal control systems as well as providing support during internal and external audits
- Supporting FP&A activities within Europe

**Education and Experience**
- Commercial education, accounting degree a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferable within a multinational company
- Fluent in English, with either German or French a plus
- Ability to work independently and deliver on responsibilities within a highly collaborative environment
- Team spirit, high level of commitment and independent working style with a structured approach to work
- Attention to detail and sense of confidentiality
- Prior Oracle experience a plus
- Good skills in Excel and other Microsoft tools
