In your role, you will join us to systematically track and analyze the performance of one of Europe’s largest start-up portfolios, to provide critical data-driven portfolio insights to our teams and keep our investors informed. Moreover you will be involved in data evaluation projects as well as in the development of new processes and work streams that help us to gain efficiency in our operative business.

**As a Portfolio Management Working Student your main tasks will be to**:

- Actively monitor our portfolio of more than 120 Swiss and European start-ups by collecting and summarizing key KPIs and business updates
- Support our portfolio across governance topics such as Annual General Meetings by coordinating with our internal teams and finalizing voting decisions
- Be the first person to know how and where we can help our portfolio companies, where they currently struggle and how we can promote their good work
- Further develop new processes and workflows to manage our increasingly expanding portfolio
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and evaluations of existing workflows in the overall investment team in order to improve processes and increase efficiency

**Requirements**:

- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree (ideally in finance or business)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Willingness and curiosity to dive into the workings of a broad range of start-ups and their industries, working with our cross-company teams to deliver the best services to our portfolio
- Ability to execute independently and autonomously while being a team player at the same time
- Strong people and communication skills - you need to be able to summarize key information in a clear and insightful way to become a sparring partner to our internal teams making key decisions
- Full written and spoken fluency in English, additional languages (especially German or French) are a plus
- Minimum availability of three days per week
- Starting in December/January for at least 12 months
