**Job Summary**:
This role is responsible for leading the Reporting & Consolidation function for the Europe region, including all business segments. The role is responsible for reporting in compliance with US GAAP and Xylem policies and ensuring adherence to internal controls for Europe managed region. The role will be accountable for all monthly and quarterly group reporting activities and deliverables to US Corporate teams, and will coordinate consolidation activities from 50+ units across the region. Further, this role will be involved in Accounting Transformation projects within Europe and partnering with the Regional Accounting leads, GBS implementation team and business process owners to provide support and guidance on the roll-out strategy.

**Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities**:

- Lead the European Reporting & Consolidation team. Responsible for all areas related to financial actual reporting within the Region including month end schedule and reporting packages. Work closely with the Regional Accounting Leaders to ensure month-end close is completed per Corporate due dates and with the highest level of quality
- Responsible for all month-end and quarter-end reporting and submissions to US Corporate teams within deadlines. This includes Balance Sheet and Cash Flow analysis, quarterly supplementals for external filings, ad-hoc requests, providing feedback on follow-up questions
- Owns the Europe region month-end process including review of P&L and BS analytics and participation in closing meetings for all sub-regions
- Responsible for certain areas of technical reporting in line with US GAAP and Xylem policies including processes around lease accounting, restructuring and realignment costs
- Implement, monitor and track Accounting team KPIs to ensure performance of the accounting teams can be properly measured and improved within the region
- Drafting memos to document internal accounting decisions and provide guidance on accounting topics to European Finance Organization as needed, working closely with the Europe Compliance team
- Lead and drive ad-hoc accounting projects and liaise with other regional accounting leaders. Work together with regional accounting teams and provide guidance to ensure processes are performed in an efficient manner
- Drives Continuous Improvement initiatives within Reporting and Consolidation processes for increased efficiency and simplification
- Direct regional process improvement initiatives, working closely together with the Regional Accounting Leaders, Global and Regional Business Process Owners, and cross-functional teams to drive standardization and harmonization of processes

**Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification**:
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience in Consolidation & consolidation systems (preferably OneStream or HFM)
- Change management experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Experience in matrix/complex organization
- Fluent in English
- Track record of process improvements
