At ONWARD we're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team.

**About the job**:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager reviews manufacturing and assembly plans of new product designs. He/she creates new processes to meet product design needs and plans for maintenance. He/she will be responsible for industrialization projects in conjunction with external manufacturers. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will also propose budgets for projects, manage assets, train stakeholders, and working with various other departments. He/she’ll also prepare reports on the progress of projects. This role ensures alignment with R&D, Quality, IT, and overall business transformation strategies.
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager formulates and recommends plans and solutions that can be applied within the Operations environment, including suppliers’ relationship on NPI projects. The role will also oversee the data management linked to the ERP implementation/functionality with Ordering, Production, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations.
**Responsibilities**
- Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers on technology transfer, new process implementation.
- Work with stakeholders to develop plans and timelines for engineering related transfer activities.
- Partner with R&D and suppliers for developing new products or improving processes.
- Support the implementation of test methods and manufacturing process validations.
- Develop process maps, procedures, and work instruction in a growing business environment.
- Coordinate and manage functional teams to provide process and manufacturability inputs to designs throughout the product development process.
- Manage bill of materials, engineering change requests, specifications, etc.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives postproduction go-live.
- Assist with implementation of automated KPi’s reporting dashboard across the organization.
**About you**:
- Master’s degree in engineering, preferred disciplines would include manufacturing engineering and electronics.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in medical devices projects, scale up from pilot to full manufacturing production.
- Gathering requirements, writing functional specifications and test procedures, tracking errors, documenting results.
- A track record of accomplishment in developing production process requirements, specifications in relation with suppliers (OEMs).
- Strong project management experience.
- Proven experience within small and large operations, including production.
- Proven ERP AX dynamics experience with Order Management and Product Configurators, Master Planning, Production Control, Transportation Management, Warehouse/Inventory Management, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable.
- Experience developing comprehensive business requirements, completing impact assessments, and contributing to business cases that identify the value of the change.
- Experience in using Lean Six Sigma tools e.g., Value Stream Mapping, DoE, etc.

**Languages**
- English & French is a must: fluent spoken and writing (C1/C2)
