Job Summary

This position is part of the Global Claim Operations team, which is responsible for the operational support of the Global Reinsurance Claim Department. Its primary responsibility is supporting the International Reinsurance Claim team. The position is open to anyone hoping to build a career with a globally recognized Company. This position will be based in our Zurich office and has a hybrid schedule, with the option of working two days remotely each week.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Work closely and effectively within the broader global reinsurance claims team.
- Process payments and other financial transactions.
- Receive new losses, verify the accuracy of information via coverage, and complete data entry for initial file setup.
- Perform quality review analysis of claim data for accuracy by established procedures and internal controls.
- Manage documents and enter data in various reinsurance claim systems.
- Provide operational support to claim management, technical staff, and internal and external customers.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

- College Degree preferred
- Work experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry is a plus
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and successfully operate in a fast-paced work environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
- Experience with Peer-to-Peer Messaging and London Market Messaging is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

- Fluent English and German is essential, French an advantage
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required
- Must be self-motivated and can work in a collaborative team
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow through on tasks/projects
