For Ibex Solutions, our outstanding biological manufacturing and development concept in Visp, Switzerland, we are looking for an intern in our team in Mammalian Purification Development. In this role, you will work hands-on in our state-of-the art laboratories and interact with international, cross-functional teams to develop purification processes for the manufacture of novel biotherapeutics.

Key responsibilities:

- Perform experiments using chromatography and membrane separation techniques
- Contribute to the execution and documentation of project-specific downstream process development activities
- Collect, summarize and analyse data to prepare development reports and presentations, as appropriate

Key requirements:

- Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent experience
Preferred area of study: Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related fields
- Good biotechnology expertise and/or knowledge in the area of downstream process development (chromatography and tangential flow filtration)
- Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude, open-minded for new insights and suggestions, high motivation and dynamic drive
- Excellent English and basic German is required
