**INTRODUCTION**:
As a preferred supplier for Roche Basel, we are looking for an individual as
**Veterinary Pathologist (M/F/d)**:
- (contract for 2 years). The earliest start date is asap or within 3 months. Remote/Home Office will be possible but some on-site is required as well.
**ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION**:
- The Veterinary Pathologist will generate scientific insights for our portfolio through toxicologic pathology project support.
- Direct portfolio project pathology responsibilities including toxicologic pathology assessment and implementation of investigative pathology endpoints
- Support drug discovery, research and development through integrative assessment of multiple endpoints and deep mechanistic pathology understanding
- Histopathologic data generation and interpretation, and integration as part of evaluation of toxicology studies according to the principles of GLP
- Peer review of pathology data/interpretations
- Evaluation of clinical pathology data of toxicology studies, integration with histopathology data for optimal study interpretation
- Provide guidance and participate in development of relevant animal models and selection of compounds for development
**REQUIRED PROFILE**:
- DVM or Doctor Med. Vet. with the ACVP or ECVP pathology board certification/eligibility
- PhD and Postdoctoral experience are of a benefit
- At least 3+ years of working experience within Toxicologic Pathology
- Experience with image analysis is of benefit
- Experience working according to GLP
- Experience in Digital Pathology Evaluation
- Fluent communication both written and verbal in English
- You have a growth and collaborative mindset with the ability to ask for feedback and continuously
- develop.
- You are accountable and have a strong dedication to scientific excellence
