DevOps Intern

**Job description**:
Join Yarowa as an Intern We are looking for a motivated and curious individual who wants to gain hands-on experience supporting and improving our scalable cloud-based IT platform. In this role, you will take ownership of your own smaller assignments and projects, while also supporting the team in ensuring the reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our platform.
We are looking for an intern for a period of 12 to 24 months. Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive training and practical experience to help you develop valuable skills and knowledge during your time at Yarowa

**Your mission**:

- Enhance the architecture and scalability of our Azure-based platform
- Ensure high reliability and stability of our customer-facing services by advancing our monitoring capabilities using Victoria Metrics and Application Insights
- Elevate our observability stack through well-structured dashboards, actionable alerts, and insightful metrics
- Maintain, optimize, and evolve our CI/CD pipelines to support a fast and safe delivery lifecycle
- Identify and implement innovative strategies to reduce operational costs and boost platform performance
- Contribute to the improvement and standardization of internal processes through clear documentation and automation
- Collaborate on the evolution of our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to enhance the developer experience and efficiency

**Your profile**:

- Currently attending Platform Developer EFZ or similiar
- Self-driven and eager to take initiative
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Basic understanding of Linux fundamentals and networking concepts
- Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, or Terraform (advantage)
- Initial experience or strong interest in scripting and programming (Python, Bash, Go,.NET, Next.js)
- Fluent in German and English (any additional language is a plus)
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Located in Switzerland
