**Our vision for Supply Chain at BD**:
The BD Supply Chain teams are responsible to bringing billions of life-saving medical devices and diagnostics tests, high-tech instruments and equipment to customers and patients all over the world. Our aim is deliver these products at an affordable cost and of the highest quality.

The position will initiate and drive improvements in the process through increased market knowledge and systems usage. Focus on improvements in demand modeling, which drives greater accuracy and is directly linked to increased customer service and inventory strategies. Maintain a strong link to business activity and global issues as they may affect respective products. Responsible for coordination of the demand for the annual long-term planning process.

**Main responsibilities will include**:
**Demand Planning**
- Responsible for the demand figures in the EMEA regions indirectly driving the production schedule of global plants, directly affecting the availability of products to the customers
- Process Owner for the demand planning process in the EMEA regions for assigned platforms, across countries regionally and indirectly influences the global production plan
- Actively contribute and support the development and implementation of the regional business strategy in the demand planning functional area
- Develop good statistical models through the use of the SCM DP/SP and leverage its usage in monthly Demand Consensus for products forecasted at regional level
- Supervise Job logs from DP background jobs after each step in the monthly process for products forecasted for sale at the regional level
- Monitor DP alerts and use BI reports to identify forecast issues for products forecasted at regional level

**IBP process facilitation**:

- Timely and accurately enter the consensus figures into DP for monthly pass into IBP to accurately determine production planning
- Handle communication and coordination across the regional marketing and finance areas as well as across country sales and marketing teams
- Lead the Regional Demand Reviews and represent that information in the Regional IBP meetings, ensuring timely collection and review of the appropriate information required for this forum
- Represent the region in the monthly WW Demand Review and weekly S&OE ropriate information required for this forum and jointly contribute to the decisions to ultimately determine global production
- Interface with WW Demand/Supply Planners for plants globally and IBP Process owner
- Support BD AI/ML implementation process. Increase adoption rate with zero touch.

**Business performance management**
- Responsible for the Regional Key Metrics/Forecast Accuracy to attain the highest level of performance for the assigned product groups and assist in management of cost through achieving those metrics
- Support WW Supply Chain key initiatives to accomplish outstanding forecast accuracy and provide support in meeting goals across all other SC KPI's to ultimately help lead production/distribution efficiencies
- Support CI, cost reduction or other efficiency initiatives in the region
- Maintain a strong link with the business activities and global issues as they may affect respective products sold in the region regardless of where the products are manufactured.
- Consolidate, challenge the country input for the annual LTP process as well as provide regional input

**Your Profile**:

- University degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
- APICS certification preferred
- Demand Planning experience in a large or complex organization
- Led and coordinated demand consensus activities
- Experience with statistical forecasting models
- ERP experiences to include APO, SCM DP/SP or other tools
- SAP SCM experience preferred APICS certification preferred
