**About ARTIDIS**

ARTIDIS is changing the way cancer is diagnosed and treated. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to create products that will assist doctors, clinicians, nurses and patients in conducting clinical studies and providing better healthcare. A Lead Data Scientist at ARTIDIS is expected to communicate and understand customer requirements.

**Job Purpose**

As a Lead Data Scientist, you'll be tasked to lead a team of data scientists and develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models on a medical device and in the cloud.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**Qualification**

Required
- Experience using Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) device and AFM measurement data as input features to supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
- Experience in digital health and driving innovation in health care
- Experience using NLP on unstructured health records - Preference for named entity recognition, span classification, and relationship extraction
- Experience with computer vision and medical images - Preference for image segmentation, object recognition
- Understanding of MLOps for automatic deployment, continuous training, and model monitoring - Preference for experience with model deployment on a medical device or edge-compute and cloud-based models
- Experience leading and developing a team of data scientists
- Experience hiring data scientists
- Experience with the Python data stack (pandas, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, spaCy)
- Writing documented, clear and efficient code
- Understanding of how and why to use version control systems for code, data and models
- Ability to design and implement requirements with long-term objectives in mind
- Proactive way of thinking, communicating and working
- Ability to work without supervision
- High level of expression and comprehension of the English language

Preferred
- Understanding regulations in the medical device and software fields (and their relevance to machine learning)
