The International Rail Transport Committee (CIT) is an association of over 130 railway undertakings and shipping companies that operate international passenger and/or freight transport services. The seat is in Bern (CH).

The legal expert will provide legal support and analysis for the CIT members, for international rail and multimodal transport matters. Such position implies also the coordination and animation of planned meetings and conferences. Being also able of autonomous work, such position implies to take an active part in the development of the CIT services and products. The position implies regular editing of notes but also articles for the CIT newsletter & brochures. Active participation in meetings of expert groups, and representation of CIT positions in external organisations.

The areas of work will be:

- passenger and freight transport,
- use of rail infrastructure,
- wagon law,
- data protection,
- multimodal transport.

**Job Type**: 100%

Pay: From CHF95’000.00 per year
