**Overview**:
The project manager is a member of the Program Management Office team and is responsible for managing Sensors NPD project tasks and priorities. The project manager owns the project execution and communication with different functions.
He/she is responsible for project-related communications with customers in order to meet specifications and work through expectations within the project margin targets. This role must closely collaborate with colleagues in Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality.

**Responsibilities & Tasks**:

- Full lifecycle ownership of New Product Development projects for Sensors market
- Manage projects to meet specifications, Sensors BU targets and product line plans
- Owns project schedule and P&L: deliver on revenue and gross margin targets by driving timely project execution and target costs
- Execute TE processes for project management, prepare and present at gate review
- Foster communication and negotiate with Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Operations and any other relevant organizations within TE to meet project goals
- Communicate with and present to Senior Management primarily in the context of Project Approval Committee meetings
- Occasional communication with customers regarding technical and project execution progress
- Critical thinking with focus on continuous improvement
- Keep team focus and accountable to execute tasks agreed upon

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
- Large scale project management experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and remotely as part of a virtual team
- PMP or equivalent certification is an added advantage
- Experience leading multi-cultural cross-functional teams
- Strong command of English language
