**Your responsibility**:

- The Market Executive / Team Lead - Active Reinsurance (English speaking countries globally), together with his team, serves Clients and Brokers for Property & Casualty treaty reinsurance business in the respective countries.
- Reports to the CEO Active Reinsurance and leads a team of treaty underwriters and underwriting assistants
- Develops the team further by sharing his / her experience and expertise.
- Is responsible for acquiring, managing and retaining insurance companies as customers.
- Is responsible for underwriting and pricing accounts in accordance with Helvetia's guidelines
- Establishes respective market and sales plans, identifies new opportunities and manages the client relationships (including frequent travels to the respective markets)
- This position is to be filled with a workload of 50-100% and is also possible in job-sharing.

**Your qualification**:

- University degree or equivalent education. A strong understanding of reinsurance numbers and statistics is required.
- 10 years+ progressive underwriting experience within the treaty reinsurance industry covering multiple lines of business (mainly Property & Casualty).
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation & sales and negotiation skills in English (preferably native speaker).
- Ability to underwrite large, more complex reinsurance treaties, including knowledge of reinsurance treaty wordings, pricing and rating methodology, modeling and valuation tools.
- Experience in gathering market information and acting on recognized trends.
- Curiosity, open-minded, can-do-attitude, solution oriented and resilient.
