The site in Visp, Switzerland is growing and for our growing Biologics Readiness organization, we are looking for an MSAT Readiness Expert Lead in Capital Investment projects. In this position, you will be the main responsible for delivering all input required for the process capabilities of the future facilities and acts as process owner during the initial engineering phases and provides leadership to cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities: - Acts as MSAT Readiness Expert Lead in Capital Investment projects for construction and commissioning of Ibex® biopharma facilities - Support time&motion and feasibility studies, conceptual and basic design phases as future process owner of those facilities - Act as the interface between the process donor (customer/sending sites, process development) and operations; responsible to ensure process scalability and manufacturability - Manage the process representatives during the initial engineering phases and give leadership to cross-functional teams of experts - Support the implementation Lonza culture via openness for change and new ideas, cooperative teamwork, continuous improvement and innovation even outside the own area of responsibility - Contributing to standardized MSAT procedures and processes in the area of local / global MSAT and Lonza Initiatives Key requirements: - Significant experience in the area of biopharma facilities (microbial, mammalian, bioconjugates), at least 2kL (mid-scale), preferably >10kL (large scale) - Deep understanding of a broad spectrum of bioprocesses (USP & DSP, bioconjugates, mRNA), GMP-requirements and biopharma production - Strong experience in CapEx and start-up phases of new biopharma manufacturing facilities - Strong leadership skills - Ability to communicate internally and externally at higher levels; strong business understanding, strong team orientation - Structured and proactive working attitude - Open-minded for new ideas Every day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
