Immigration Consultant

Fragomen’s Swiss Inbound Immigration team are looking for an Immigration Consultant to join us in our Zurich office on a permanent basis. If you’re looking to develop a career in the Immigration sector with truly global firm, then we would love to hear from you.

**About the role**

Other key responsibilities will include and experience of these will be beneficial:

- Assisting in preparing and delivering client presentations, best practice sessions and training
- Under direct supervision, acting as a caseworker on straightforward cases
- Supporting Senior Consultants and Managers with the progression of more complicated cases
- Reviewing client queries and drafting responses for review by Senior Consultants and Managers
- Reviewing applicant and approval documentation
- Updating the case management system and general administrative support as required

**About you**
Ideally you will have previous experience within immigration or a client-facing professional role. A law degree is not required but a desire to develop your career within a corporate environment is essential.

Also required:

- You will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills in both English and German/French and demonstrated ability to manage your own time and caseload.
- Bachelor or Master degree preferably specializing in Law/Legal Services or Political Sciences
- Strong customer service skills
- Previous customer facing experience is beneficial
- Previous case/project handling experience is beneficial
- At ease in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work towards deadlines and work with high volumes
- Immigration experience/client facing skills are desirable but not essential
- Additional language skills would be highly beneficial for this role

Our Zurich office has 19 people working collaboratively and creating a dynamic, positive environment.

The office itself is based in the heart of the City of Zurich, located within a short walk of the Zurich main station. As Switzerland starts to move out of lockdown and Fragomen moves out of a fully working from home model, a willingness to attend the office will be required. The firm is however transitioning towards a flexible working approach, that incorporates in-person attendance with remote working - our aim being to fully leverage our remote working technology and provide a balance for our people in the way that they work.
