**Summary**
The main purpose of the job is to oversee the daily accounting operation of the Bioplant, maintain an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
TechOps Manufacturing & Morges EU HQ Projects
- Act as a finance partner and controller to support project team members;
- Monitor, consolidate and control Bioplant Project capex budget. Identify deviations and any related risks of not spending according to plan. Follow-up accurately costs vs budget. Provide quarterly forecast;
- Ensure proper accounting for each month end close based on construction work % of completion. Check monthly entries, book justified accruals. Raise compliance issues. Ensure processes, procedures and year-end instructions are clear and available;
- Provide monthly highlights and financials dashboards, quarterly project forecast;
- Prepare PPT presentations and lead monthly update calls with Corporate Finance, TechOps Management, Europe Facility;
- Lead processes and procedures for PR creations and contracts approvals to ensure all payments and accruals are done on time and compliant with Incyte corporate policies;
- Identify VAT/ Import duties issues related to project agreements and invoices. Coordinate invoices process;
- Approve all CIP requisitions as finance approver
Yverdon Bio Plant accounting and costs controlling
- Work close to Bioplant Site Head and Departments heads to follow-up on committed PO's, Headcounts, Workforce expenses, external contractors cash flow details;
- Assistance with CAPEX requests, documentation, capital forecasting;
- Attend weekly Bioplant project team meetings, monthly meetings with Department heads to control the actual vs budget spending;
- Maintenance of standard costs and bills of material;
- Build-up entire fixed assets structure in Oracle for the Bioplant Site;
- Cost Accounting and Month End Variance Analysis
- Propose new Requisitions and invoices process flow for Bioplant Project to clarify role and responsibility between functions.
- Active coordinator of the periodic physical inventory,
- Participate in raw material and spare parts workflow;
- Participate in project teams as the financial team member as required
- Provide training PR/PO for Tech Ops and contribute to improve PR/PO compliance
Oracle
- Coordinate creation of new fixed assets categories for Yverdon Bio Plant, accounts and PR categories and project field code.
Create GL CIP report to ensure budget transparency and costs control accuracy. Create fixed assets register report for Yverdon Bio Plant to comply with auditors’ request. Enhance FA module process in EBS Oracle.
SOX controls /audits
- Be the audit Fixed assets point of contact for external auditors / SOX auditors for Yverdon Bio Plant.
- Implement and complete monthly SOX controls for fixed assets.
- Draft fixed assets SOP
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred);
- Minimum 8 years’ progressive financial experience in manufacturing environment;
- Strong cost accounting knowledge and experience;
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Perfect understanding of English and French;
- Business Partnering Mindset;
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
