**About LEKO LABS**

LEKO LABS is a novel state of the art way to build walls and floors for buildings that have a mínimal carbon footprint, are highly insulating and commercially very attractive for developers.

We are active in Luxembourg and on an expansion course across Europe and then wider around the globe. First full buildings have been completed based on the LEKO LABS technology in the past two years and we are now scaling up our manufacturing and sales.

Our Vision is to achieve the reduction of 1% of global greenhouse gases by 2040 through a transition to climate friendly building materials and improved levels of home insulation.

**Your Role**

In this position, you will work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and collaborate with other divisions across the organization to pave the way for the LEKO LABS' wall system to become the prevailing solution of climate-positive construction globally.

**Responsibilities**
- Give accurate and timely counsel in a variety of legal topics (commercial law, labor law, international ventures, corporate finance etc.); provide timely clarification on legal language or specifications
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
- Manage external counsel
- Track internal governance policies and drive their optimization, support their implementation, and regularly monitor compliance; maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation wherever relevant to your duties
- Support the policy and regulatory departments and other external-facing groups by providing background and preparatory material for their external negotiations
- Whenever needed, collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies
- Conduct your work adhering to the highest level of integrity

**Your Profile**
- Self-starter with start-up and/or strategy consulting experience and willingness to roll up her/his sleeves
- Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in an international business environment
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures as well as of commercial law
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information
- Outstanding communication skills; fluent English required
- BSc (or comparable) degree in Law and/or J.D. degree
- MA or BSc in Business Administration and/or degree in environmental law or sustainability will be considered an advantage
