**Who we are looking for**

We are building smart solutions that range from connecting and monitoring compressors all the way to optimizing operations, predicting and automating repairs. To do that, we need you, a data scientist, to be part of our newly established team. To succeed in this position, you should have a university degree in data or software engineering or a quantitative field, a proven track record and a passion to generate actionable insights for customers.

- Build the future of industrial compression solutions together with a newly established interdisciplinary and data-driven team
- Initiate and conduct data analyses based on machine, production and service data and recognize patterns and correlations from our data streams
- Use the data provided to generate descriptive, visualize and meaningful insights
- Integrate technical solutions into business contexts and explore internal and external needs and translate them into data requirements
- Work on machine learning and artificial intelligence projects (e.g., automated decision making, improvement of process quality and efficiency); supervised and unsupervised learning
- Work with cross-divisional teams in an agile setup
- You will be working in systems SAP (R3, BW), Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft BI, Siemens Teamcenter PLM, Microsoft AZURE, Amazon AWS
- Statistical modelling and experiment design

**should**
**bring**
- Degree in computer science, applied mathematics, statics or related quantitative field, or related field and/or experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience preferably in an industrial company
- Comfortable using cloud-based solutions
- Experience or minimum willingness to learn the Analytical problem-solving skills and ability to assimilate complex information
- Proven track record in data analysis, machine learning, statistical modeling, artificial intelligence and related approaches
- Programming experience in modern data-oriented languages (e.g., Python)
- Preferable experience with NLP Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision
- Willingness to acquire additional system/technical knowledge as needed
- Fluent in English
- Experience in working with Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud-based environments
- Experience with agile and customer-centered development approaches is a plus
- Experience to work in an international organization and in multi-cultural teams
- Translate data driven insights into decisions and actions
