**Introduction**:
**Presentation**:
The Gatfield lab works on gene regulatory mechanisms that occur at the RNA level - in particular translation and RNA decay - using _in vitro_, cellular and mouse models. One interest over the years has lied in using the circadian system as an experimental paradigm, but we have recently diversified into other, disease-relevant in vivo settings as well (cancer, stress responses pathway).

**Your responsibilities**:
For a newly funded collaborative project together with the lab of Simon Bekker-Jensen (University of Copenhagen, Denmark) - entitled “**The role of impaired ribosomes as stress signals for metabolic regulation in vivo**” - we are looking for a **highly motivated postdoctoral researcher**. The project build on previous work we have carried out together (see Snieckute et al. _Science _2023, 382:eadf3208; Snieckute et al. _Cell Metabolism_ 2022, 34:2036-2046) and on our own (Arpat et al. 2020, _Genome Research_ 30:985-999).
