**Global Medical Lead Dengue (M/F/d), Global Medical Affairs**
in a permanent and full-time position.
The **Global Medical Lead (M/F/d) Dengue** is responsible for the development and execution of the Medical Strategy for Takeda's dengue vaccine across its life span in alignment with the overall portfolio, Global Launch and Global Program strategies in collaboration with other relevant functions in GMO and VBU.
**Your tasks in detail (among others)**:
- Leads the Medical Excellence team in GMA and the Global Medical Strategy Team (GMST), a cross geographical, cross functional team of Medical and Scientific leads and experts which is responsible for the Global Medical Strategy and for all Medical ringfenced activities and decision making for Takeda's dengue vaccine.
- Is responsible for Global Medical key tactics and deliverables for Takeda's endemic and travel markets including KOL engagement, Medical Communication, and capability building
- Co-leads with the Global Brand Lead the Global Launch Team (GLT) including its GLT sub-teams and is co-responsible for Takeda's dengue vaccine global launch preparedness and excellence strategy in Takeda's endemic and travel markets
- Represents Medical Affairs in the Global Program Team (GPT) who is responsible for the global asset strategy and co-leads the GLT (Global Launch Team) in close collaboration with the Global Brand Lead for Takeda's Dengue Vaccine. Ensure sharing and cascading relevant outcome of GPT or GLT decisions and discussion to GMST and GMA. Further, ensure seamless communication and exchange between GLT and GMST as well as GMA to ensure that the Global Medical strategy contributes to the Global Brand Plan and is aligned across all medical stakeholders including the GMA-Policy (ISP) Team who is responsible for supranational and international recommendation of Takeda's dengue vaccine.
- Provides strategic leadership within the GMA organization and supports identification and development of talents as well as enforces lifelong continuous learning to ensure Dengue and Takeda's dengue vaccine expertise across the organization
- Partners with Commercial, Clinical and Analytical Research, and Communication functions in VBU, the regional Medical Affairs Teams and local medical functions in Takeda's affiliates
- Support the EG (Evidence Generation) Lead in the development and execution of the integrated Evidence Generation plan for Takeda's dengue vaccine in close collaborations with Takeda's endemic and travel Regions, and LOCs (Local Operating Companies). This includes all types of Evidence Generation studies such as Investigator Initiated studies (IISRs), Collaborative Studies, Medical Affairs sponsored studies, and Heath Economic and Outcome Research (HEOR).
- Oversee and is accountable for key Medical Communication deliverables such as SCP, Whitepaper, medical narrative and core slide decks and a scientific communication plan including congresses strategy and activities, advisory board strategy, and stakeholder engagements i. e. KOL, advocacy group engagements including scientific/ academic networks.
- Working with the Publication Strategy Team (PSC) to develop a publication strategy, an annual plan, the execution in publications and congress communications (oral presentations and poster).
- Contributes to integrated medical training strategy (Dengue Learning Academy, DLA) as part of the dengue launch preparations and post launch activities reflecting regional needs - endemic/ travel - tailored to different knowledge levels and using different channels.
- Is responsible for regular data-base updates, literature searches and updates as well as maintenance of an up -to-date literature repository to support knowledge and expertise within the organization with respect to Dengue disease and science, Dengue management, Dengue control and prevention and the relevant vaccines in development or in commercial use.
**Your profile**:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in complex matrix environments
- Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and trends including a good understanding of the life cycle of a brand from cross-functional perspectives (e.g. marketing, pricing and reimbursement, supply chain) - with special focus on vaccines.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills in English, including proven success in communicating ideas to build collaborative work relationships.
- Advanced interpersonal and negotiation skills including clear achievements in positively influencing key stakeholders
- High degree of self-awareness, self-motivation, initiative, and attention in detail
