WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

As an intern in our department you will be part of
Machine Learning team which is part of Cooperate Research and Development at Hilti.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Machine Learning Intern to join our team. You will work closely with experts from different fields to develop and test innovative approaches using data analytics and machine learning techniques. Your key responsibilities will be analysing large datasets from power tools, data pre-processing, feature engineering and model evaluation.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field for the whole internship period.
- Strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data analytics.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and scikit-learn.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- If available: a GitHub link showcasing any relevant projects or courseworks.
