As a Data Science Intern in Axpo Distribution, you will work on a challenging data science project to improve our drone inspection services. The solution you develop will support our employees as well as external partners and customers in meeting their daily challenges. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for building and operating data-driven digital products and re-usable platform components.
We are looking for makers to join our digital solutions team. We believe in continuous improvement, clean code, simple design, speed, scalability and fun.
**What you will do**:
- Design, build, and improve machine-learning models to analyze drone imagery
- Support the team in other data science projects
- Collaborate with product managers and all kinds of engineers to build our software products
**What you bring & who you are**:
- Experienced in programming with python and python data science libraries (e.g. Pytorch, Keras (Tensorflow), Scikit Learn etc.)
- First experience in image recognition is a plus
- Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), continuous deployment and testing is a plus
- Degree (in progress) in Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent
- Fluent in German or English
- Team-minded, proactive and a maker
- Good sense of humor
