**Chemical Technician - Production

As a **Chemical/ Laboratory Technician who has worked in Chemical Production,** you will have the
unique opportunity to be part of a high-functioning team of chemists and material scientists to
produce some of the fundamental materials behind our exhaust gas purification technology.
**Your responsibilities**
- Conduct syntheses of inorganic materials according to established production protocols.
- Ensure production quotas are met and quality control is maintained.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory space.
- Handle and dispose of chemicals and hazardous materials safely and in accordance with
safety protocols.
- Assist in performing routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and troubleshoot and
resolve equipment issues.
- Prepare samples for analysis and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of all procedures performed.
**Qualifications**
- Apprenticeship as chemical laboratory technician (CFC) in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry,
materials science, energy science or related industrial sciences).
- Prior experience in a chemical laboratory or similar interdisciplinary setting, with an
emphasis on experience in production.
- Knowledge of chemical safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team-based environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to handle heavy lab equipment and wear chemical masks for extended periods
throughout the day.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work under pressure with strict deadlines when
necessary.
