**JOB SUMMARY**
You will join the International Actuarial Pricing Team at AXIS Re Europe in Zurich where you will be supporting the pricing of International Casualty treaty business. Relevant lines of business include Motor, General Liability and Professional Lines. In this role, you will work closely with our underwriters to project the results for individual trading relationships.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collect and validate data from clients to input and process it with AXIS pricing tool
- Liaise with underwriting and actuarial colleagues to properly understand and reflect the risk
- Perform loss modeling of International Casualty business
- Use actuarial methods to estimate expected losses, cash flows, risk aggregations and advise management on technical pricing, and ensure robust economic and actuarial evaluation of commercial agreements
- Provide actuarial input into portfolio monitoring, business planning, and projections
- Collect client and market data and perform actuarial studies
- Support development and maintenance of data analytics tools and models
- Participate in cross functional teams and projects and provide best actuarial practices
- Participation in client and broker visits; some travel may be required

**REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE**

**Technical Skills**:

- University degree or equivalent mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or similar technical field
- Qualified member of an actuarial society (CAS, FIoA, SAV or similar)
- 5-7 years’ experience in a pricing department at a Reinsurance company is strongly desired
- Exposure to Casualty pricing in Europe, Middle East and Latin America. Exposure to other lines is plus
- Experience in participating and leading internal projects
- Advanced IT skills, including familiarity with VBA, R or SQL
- Fluent in English a must, German or French desirable
