Lonza’s Legal Department in Basel (Switzerland) is looking for a legal trainee to support simple contracts review, mainly Confidentiality Agreements, for a duration of 12 months (fixed term) at 50%. It is usually possible to work distributed over all days of the week.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Main tasks are the responsibility for the internal database, including archiving of contracts and collaboration with Lonza's external service provider and the creation, review and negotiation of simple and standardized contracts, mainly Confidentiality Agreements, for the various business units under supervision of the responsible in-house counsel.
- The trainee will also be responsible to obtain signatures on all finally negotiated contracts, correspond with the opposing party to obtain a fully executed version and file it with the Contract Insight data base.
- Depending on requirements, aptness and availability the trainee may be requested contribute to other legal or administrative tasks required by Lonza’s Legal Department.

**Key requirements**:

- Minimum: Bachelors in Law.
- Fluent in English and good understanding of German languages.
