**Beschreibung**:
For our international partner, Roche Diagnostics International Ltd. based in Schlieren, we are looking for a qualified and motivated **Research Associate** for 12 months with option for extension.

Roche Innovation Center Zurich (Schlieren-Zurich), a 100 % affiliate of Roche Pharmaceuticals, is active in the research, development and commercialization of new potent antibody-based products for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune disease. We offer a stimulating and truly international environment. To further strengthen our organization, we are looking for 2 research associates in Histology.

**Tasks**:

- Handling of automated tissue processor and paraffin auto embedder
- Frequent paraffin block preparation and sectioning
- Frozen cryostat sectioning
- Basic histology staining
- Immuno-histochemistry techniques: fluorescent and chemical dual labelling procedures
- Standard microscopy, confocal and scanner microscopy both Olympus and Ventana platform
- Good knowledge of tissue quantification software like Definiens, Halo and VisioPharm.
- Presentation of results to the team

**Must Haves**:

- Education in Life Sciences (Bs, Ms or Apprenticeship with experience)
- Proven experience working in lab, preferably Histology
- Experience in mouse-handling and mice studies
- English speaker

**Nice to Have**:

- Microtome sectioning
- Cryo-sectioning
- Standard and immuno-staining techniques
- Microscopy Scanner
- Graph-Pad Prism software
