Let’s talk about the role

Responsible for day to day monitoring of inventory levels in stores in conjunction with plan to ensure optimum Stock Turn, Revenue and Service Levels.

The Allocator collaborates closely with Retail Operations, Store Merchandiser and Merchandise Planning to ensure that inventory is managed to the planned constraints and business goals.

How you will make the difference

Maintaining optimal inventory in store

**Analyzing sales results by store and use information to**: adjust levels or change assortment, execute transfers, monitoring out of stocks and fill size gaps

Establishing proper levels of product by store and distribute accordingly

Communicating all relevant business information to the Allocation Manager, being the first point of contact in the allocation team

Supporting Inventory Plans through the execution of initial seasonal inventory allocations and replenishment exceptions

Emphasizing on store-level inventory levels and basics management

Ensuring full execution of returns in a timely manner

Analysing store-level data to identify Brand/Division trends, DC-specific and store-specific inventory issues

Co-ordinating with Retail Operations, Store Merchandiser and Planning teams to ensure store level trends balance with Open-to-Buy and Open-to-Ship projections and forecasts

Attending and contributing in all function and department meetings

Communicating of Availability, Transfers & Price changes to stores

Responding to Store & District Manager queries

What you need to succeed?

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.

**Education**: university degree

**Experience**: must have 1-3 years experience in a multi-store retail environment preferred

**Language skills**: fluent in English

**Technical skills**: good working knowledge of computer systems with emphasis on MS Office (Excel), SAP knowledge is beneficial
