**GOAL**:
We want to provide a unique & unconventional experience to our customers, which she can't forget. In this exciting position you will guarantee the style and identity of the brand through the design of woven and Jersey products ; translate trends in order to design a suitable collection for every season extracting the key looks, key products, key colours, big volume lines and ensure optimum results for a positive turnover.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Design of outwear collections for every sub-season, collaborating with the Buyer to build a balanced range and assortment and ensure coherence of the collection through stories, trends and color ranges while following the instructions of the Head Designers. You will liaise closely with buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points

Customer: the client is the King
- Monitor and react to how the customer is affected by trends and by their surroundings
- Define the key looks, key products and images to ensure optimum results and turnover for the brand
- Define the best basic and fashion styles for the coming seasons in relation with the new trends
- Develop and design specific selective lines for main markets
- Have a comprehensive understanding of main markets

Design
- Ensure the range defined fits with the trends (from basic to fashion)
- Ensure coherence of the collection, through stories, trends and color ranges while following the instructions of the Senior Designer
- Collaborate with other designers to coordinate products and cohesive designs
- Provide proto samples within deadline to build the collection range
- Examine proto samples, and then modify designs to achieve desired results
- Once proto sample is approved, attend first fitting session
- Ensure each shape is adapted to the customer (task supported by pattern makers and technical team)

Range Building
- Development of the range: Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessory
- Define and write detailed technical files

Product Development
- Respect the Buying & Designers Calendar and the collection process
- Ensure to get the best items in the store following each step of the product development (supported by the Production manager)
- Work with Technicians and PMs to create detailed technical files

Analysis & Research
- Analyse and research fashion trends. Keep up to date with emerging trends as well as general trends related to fabrics, colors and shapes
- Field research: Fair attendance, Shopping Trips, Store Days, development trips
- Desk research: Magazines, Internet, Manuals, Movies, etc.
- Competition Analysis regarding trend stories, key shapes, fabrics and colors

**Your Skills**:

- One to Two years of experience in a Designer position
- good knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign
- excellent creative skills
- Strong business sense
- self-motivated and innovative
- very good eye for trends and colors
- passion for fashion and good eye for materials
- you speak English fluently, any other language is an asset
