**Your responsibilities**: We are looking for a PhD student who will manage and conduct a large-scale international research project. The project will explore the longitudinal trajectory of prolonged grief symptoms using fine-grained experience sampling methods. You will be responsible for assisting with project planning, recruiting participants, complex statistical data analysis and the write-up of peer-reviewed manuscripts. Experience and interest in working with mobile apps and experience sampling methodology desirable. Interest in learning app development and programming desirable.

**Your profile**:

- a Master's psychology or a related discipline
- experience with experimental research
- excellent method knowledge and skills;
- very good command of English, fluent in German
- interest and experience working in mental health

In addition, it would be desirable if you had:

- experience with publishing in international journals
- programming skills
- experience with mathematical / computational modeling / machine learning
- experience using mobile apps in the research context
