For our AMETEK CTS business unit, we are looking for a Quality/EHS Manager (M/F/d) at our headquarters in Reinach BL (close to Basel, Switzerland).

Key Responsibilities of the Quality/EHS Manager (M/F/d) include:

- Responsible for ensuring Quality-compliant processes at the plant in accordance with ISO9001:2015
- Continuous improvement of the quality assurance processes
- Planning and execution of internal and external audits
- Responsible for leading customer quality related investigations for the non-conformances in the production to define immediate measures and long-term preventive actions
- Responsible for supplier Quality performance, work closely with suppliers to create and execute improvement plans
- As plant Quality Manager, responsible for the systematic reduction of costs of poor quality with continuous improvement of process and product quality
- Monitoring effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions in a continuous improvement process according to Lean/Six Sigma methods
- Be voice of customer in development phase to ensure product quality meets customers’ expectations while ensuring safety and design for manufacturing
- Responsible for Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) improvement actions at the plant
- Responsible for sustainability improvement actions
- Involved in the introduction and maintenance of quality and occupational safety indicators
- Train and coach employees in the areas of quality, EHS and continuous improvement

Position Requirements:

- Technical or Engineering education and completion of studies in Electrical Engineering/Electronics or comparable
- Several years of practical experience in quality assurance methods and supplier audits in an industrial, manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and initial experience in Lean Management and Six Sigma
- Experience of handling the quality tools (FMEA, MSA, APQP, 8D-Report, A3 Thinking etc.), MS-Office and ERP systems
- Good analytical skills and enjoy process thinking
- Excellent communicate at all levels, can assert and have a doer mentality
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written
