The Director will oversee operations across five global manufacturing plants and a central distribution hub, impacting the division's strategic and financial objectives. With a focus on growth, commercial performance, and efficiency, this role offers significant exposure to IMI's senior management. The Operations & Supply Chain Director will report directly to the Sector President. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead manufacturing and supply chain activities such as the development and execution of S&OP processes, overarching sourcing/procurement strategies, and ehancement of operational efficiency and productivity - Drive lean transformation aligned with IMI standards - Provide strategic and operational leadership, focusing on profitability, productivity, and efficiency - Manage S&OP process, optimize sourcing, and align manufacturing goals with overall strategy - Develop future manufacturing footprint, ensuring quality and compliance - Foster a high-performing team, prioritize safety, and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives. - Cultivate relationships within IMI and champion ESG efforts for CO2 reduction. **Critical Competencies for Success** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Sciences, or related field - Proven track record in large-scale, growing technology or industrial organization of similar scale and complexity (revenue > £200m, multiple products and multi-location manufacturing) - International experience and familiarity with ESG principles - Expertise in driving efficiency improvements and profitability - Strong understanding of complex manufacturing processes - Intellectual agility, able to influence multinational teams and drive change - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Experience in people and change management, with a focus on talent development - Entrepreneurial mindset and strategic thinking - Instant credibility and professionalism - Proficiency in English; fluency in another European language is a plus Health & Safety The physical demands described within the Key Duties & Responsibilities section of this job description are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
