Investment Associate

The Investment Associate will provide support to the Investment Counsellor (IC) team on daily activities involving, monitoring, structuring, pricing, execution and presentations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1) Monitoring of capital markets and managed investments position**:

- Capital Markets: follows all open structured notes and monitor the KI and KO levels as well as auto call dates and levels. Looks at new structures to replace those maturing or being called. As such, it is expect to interact with the capital markets desk.
- Managed Investments: Assists to managers and product calls and update the IC and Banker teams on the products through bullet points write ups. It is expected from the IC support to interact with the managed investments hub.

**2) IC Travel**:
Supports the ICs while they are travelling by:

- preparing materials for trips. This would include portfolio analysis reports, products reviews and presentations.
- providing any additional information needed, presentations, structuring, pricing and execution
- Answering calls from Clients that call Geneva seeking for advice or market. The incumbent will liaise with the ICs on the delivery to the Client.

**3) Investment LAB**:

- As part of producing presentations, monitoring and analytics, the incumbent will be knowledgeable on the investments LAB tools.

**4) Client Interaction**:

- Participates in all meetings with Clients that take place in Geneva. The incumbent will participate in conference calls with Clients where analytical work and presentations should be delivered.

**Development Value**:

- Develop knowledge of the various products across the Private Bank; develop understanding of the processes under which the business operates
- Exposure to many aspects of Citi (i.e. Capital Markets, Alternative Investments etc)

**Qualifications**

**Knowledge/Experience**:

- 2-3 years of work experience in the Financial Industry
- Good experience in analyzing, interpreting and managing quantitative data
- The incumbent ideally has some prior market knowledge/experience within either: Equities, Fixed Income, Capital Markets or Alternatives

**Skills**:

- Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and clients.
- Successful team worker with ability to work individually
- Pro-active service attitude and self-motivated
- Ability to tackle changes in a constructive manner
- Highly motivated and self-starter
- Good organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and prioritize within tight deadlines

**Qualifications**:

- University degree or equivalent in related discipline (e.g. Finance, Economy, Business Administration)
