Associated with the University of Basel, Swiss TPH combines research, education and services at local, national and international levels. 900 people from 80 nations work at Swiss TPH focusing on infectious and non-communicable diseases, environment, society and health as well as health systems and interventions.
**Your position**
- Bibliometric searches on disease-related data
- Data extraction, geo-referencing and entry on a user-friendly database
- Data management and basic statistical analyses
**Your profile**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in disciplines related to public health, biology, statistics or infor-mation systems
- Knowledge of at least one statistical package, preferably R
- Excellent oral and written knowledge of English is paramount
- Familiarity with SQL databases and Geographic Information Systems software would be an advantage
- Strong spirit of team work and initiative
- Be able to work independently
The position is available immediately for two years with a possibility of extension.
