The Position

As an HR Manager and HR Business Partner, you will serve as the HR Manager for the local HR team as well as a strategic advisor and partner to the functional and department leaders and employees located at our global Headquarters in Baar. You will work closely with senior leaders and managers to align HR initiatives and practices with the corporate direction, foster a positive work environment, and drive organizational effectiveness. As the global focal point for Compensation & Benefits you will drive and coordinate all compensation related processes globally in working closely with the local HR teams.

Your key responsibilities
- Manage operational and strategic HR matters in Headquarters in Baar (about 150 employees)
- Manage, support, motivate and continuously develop the HR team (3 HC) in daily routine and ensure high quality of HR performance
- Define and ensure efficient HR structures, practices, processes and documents and make sure these are in alignment with global HR strategy, company culture, HR policies and Swiss legislation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance to leaders on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with Recruiting Team to attract, recruit, and onboard top talent.
- Support the local implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and employee development initiatives.
- Conduct individual employee counselling
- Execute individual personnel measures and disciplinary actions
- Partner with business/functional leadership during times of organizational change, providing change management expertise and support.
- Facilitate communication and ensure smooth transitions during organizational restructuring, mergers, or acquisitions.
- Support the local implementation of global talent development initiatives, career pathing, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with business leaders to address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain a healthy, diverse and inclusive organizational culture.
- Act as culture ambassador, driver of company values and role model
- At a global level, co-define, establish and maintain best practice discipline around compensation approaches to annual salary review process, job evaluations, promotions, etc
- Be coach and advisor to the global HR team on Compensation & Benefits best practices

Your profile - Essential

abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager or in a similar operational HR role.
- Profound experience in Compensation & Benefits
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, policies, and Swiss employment law.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
