The Medical Team in the Swiss Affiliate is looking for a Medical Science Liaison.

**MEDICAL SCIENCE LIAISON** **(Swiss Affiliate)**

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

In this vital role, you maximize Amgen’s value propositions through medical and scientific projects, services and expertise for benefit of patients to coordinate the implementation of medical affairs (MA) programs in local territories with Sales Representative as well as to support Medical Advisor in developing local territory MA tactics of a therapeutic area or product. Your tasks and results will include the following:

- Identifies, develops and maintains collaborative relationships with current and future Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Brand Advocates, cooperative groups and key external audiences
- Develops and implements local KOL Plans, with local brand team and in agreement with Medical Affairs plan
- Works with Sales Representatives to ensure prioritization of engagement with KOLs
- Identifies new research/study opportunities in collaboration with Medical Advisor
- Support Global Study Operation (GSO) local assessments and requirements
- Advise competitive intelligence, patient journey and report KOL feedback
- Develops required qualitative and quantitative insights reports; collates competitor information
- Implements and disseminates high quality medical and scientific educational programs; gives clinical and scientific presentations

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Medical or scientific education or experience from similar positions
- Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, MD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training
- Ideally three years of experience in industry, or a related scientific field in academia
- Medical / scientific research experience
- Profound virtual interaction skills
- Excellent project management and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland
- Language skills - professional German and English

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Scientific expertise in cardiology and related products, disease states, and interested in latest discoveries
- Experience in affiliate Medical Department or Clinical Development
- Understanding of Swiss health care system and decision-making processes
- Knowledge of commercialization and business practices
- Network of expert contacts in Switzerland
