WHAT'S THE ROLE?
The Analytics Product Owner team is instrumental in transforming Hilti towards a data driven company. Together with business functions, we shape the vision and roadmap for data science solutions for a specific area of business. We manage the resulting product portfolio along the entire lifecycle of data science solutions. As an intern, you will be empowered by your inter-disciplinary product team to develop the desired data science solutions in an agile setup. With a focus on creating business value, you support the business function in change management and the adoption of the solutions.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months.

In your role as Product Owner Intern you will enter an excellent learning environment of top-notch data professionals that graduated from the best universities across Europe and beyond. As part of your internship, you will work on a specific data science product within an area of Hilti’s business - such as Marketing & Sales, Logistics, or Manufacturing - and support in their journey to solve daily processes in a data-driven way. Jointly with the business function, you develop the product vision for data science solutions and align on targets, requirements and priorities.
For your product, you will manage the product backlog and develop fitting solutions in an agile setup together with your product team of experienced data scientist, data engineers, and front-end experts. You are responsible to maximize the value provided to the business functions, not only by developing the right products, but also by actively drive change management.
You build bridges between business and technology and support the further development and realization of our IM-vision of “Data Driven Company”.
