Project Coordinator

In this newly created role, you will be part of a project team and be the right hand of the Global Head of Project. The project you will be part of is an important milestone in the long-term strategy of GF Casting Solutions. GF Casting Solutions will build a plant in the US and deliver parts for a German automobile manufacturer. You will support the Global Head of Project on the aspects of time and quality and have a deep insight into the project. In addition, you will have the opportunity of a long-term assignment in the US if necessary. Support in the definition of the internal and external project scope, objectives, and deliverables and in the creation of a comprehensive project plan that includes tasks and timelines Support in the development and maintenance of the project schedule monitoring progress against milestones and adjusting plans as necessary to keep the project on track Facilitating communication among the management, stakeholders, and other relevant parties and providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and risks Identifying and monitoring of potential risks to the project and developing strategies to mitigate them Support in the establishment of quality standards and processes to ensure project deliverables meet requirements Addressing issues and conflicts that arise during the project and finding solutions to keep the project moving forward Preparation and facilitating internal and external meetings Supporting purchasing with supplier escalations A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or business-related field of study or an apprenticeship with additional training At least 3 years of professional experience in project management and/or production Highly committed, and flexible. and open-minded person with clear communication skills Organized to work independently and responsible towards the project or cultural objectives Problem-solving and critical thinking attitude Good knowledge of MS Office and MS Project If necessary, willingness to undertake a long-term assignment to the USA **Benefits**: Clear vision and purpose "We are a sustainability and innovation leader providing superior customer value" is our vision and this is what guides us.
