About the team you are joining

The Knowledge and Engagement team works to ensure that airlines and key stakeholders are engaged and equipped with the right knowledge to support their journey to net zero, sustainable aviation. One of our main projects is a digital Environment Knowledge Center designed as a “one-stop shop” for key environmental resources, virtual events, essential trainings, and interactions.

What your day would be like

You will report to the Assistant Director, Knowledge and Engagement and you will be responsible for ensuring the growth and content quality of FlyAware, a digital space and expert community that provides access to educational and reference resources, hosts events and connects airline professionals and other users working towards sustainable, net-zero aviation.

You will support the user journey on the FlyAware digital platform, its promotion and content management as well as the broader monitoring of key environmental topics. Additionally:

- In line with the dedicated Governance Framework, support the user journey on the Fly Aware digital platform from registration and onboarding to the deployment of activities, ensuring a seamless experience and timely feedback.
- Support content management and events coordination through the Knowledge Center, based on users’ analytics and needs.
- Contribute to the promotion plan of the Fly Aware platform, ensuring its growth and an increased level of users’ engagement.
- Support the monitoring of news and new developments on environmental topics, such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), new propulsion technologies and alternatives to single-use plastic.
- Support the identification and the development of digital assets, publications, PPTs, brochures and other environmental content for the Fly Aware platform.

We would love to hear from you if

You have a combination of degree and at least 1 year’ experience in the following fields:
1. Digital Marketing, community management, or Knowledge Management.

2. Sustainability, CSR, Environment Innovation or Aviation Environment
- Strong ability to work with IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint), digital platforms and social media channels.
- Capacity to work with digital analytics, summarize large amount of data and translate complex technical concepts into content accessible for non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational, time management, learning and communications skills.
- Knowledge of diverse groups, working with a multicultural workforce, and sensitivity and appreciation to cultural differences.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English and a second language (French, Spanish or Chinese) required.
