**We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive the development of our risk data infrastructure, optimise data quality, and enhance our risk management systems to ensure seamless integration and automation.**

**Your responsibilities**
- Lead and develop a team of data engineers
- Gather and structure large volumes of real-time and historical data from various sources, including trading platforms, commodity exchanges, external providers, and internal systems
- Manage risk databases, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency while ensuring scalability
- Work closely with teams across risk, trading, and treasury departments to implement, maintain, and enhance risk management technology platforms, automating data flows, calculations, and reporting processes
- Develop and maintain systems for risk reporting and monitoring and help designing dashboards that make risk data accessible and interpretable for stakeholders
- Establish data governance and coding standard policies, ensuring proper handling and comprehensive documentation of risk data and technology platforms

**Your skills**
- Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
- Several years of experience in quantitative risk management or analysis within a commodity trading or financial environment
- Deep understanding of financial markets, particularly commodity markets
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams and projects in high-performance settings
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ and experience with modelling tools like MATLAB or R
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a hands-on approach to addressing risk-related issues
